Anders invites you under Åland Spring Fair to his fishermans hut Västerro, a little paradise next to a bay on Herrön, near the southernmost point of Åland. Here he runs fish processing, fish sales and fish smoking on a small scale.
Peek into the fish smokehouse, take a tour through the vines and take part in his many quirky activities. When you come here, you never know what await! And what will be served last and finally, we will find out when the boats come ashore this May morning in Flakaviken. If you want to enjoy the beautiful view, take a cup of coffee and home-baked goods with you to the jetty by the sea.
The large fish table that is served every year includes, among other things: "Shark plates" cured fish, smoked fish, pickled fish, fish soup, chanterelle sauce, Västerro sauce, smoked cheese, fried vegetables and other goodies that have been caught during the morning.
NEWS:
This year there will be fried carp ants (NOTE! It's not ants but a Lemland name for fried and smoked roach mince) as well as build-it-yourself mullet burgers from the big fish table.
